The 5th edition of Pharmintech, the international event dedicated to the technology chain for the pharmaceutical, parafarmaceutics and nutraceutical industry, took place from April 13th to the 15th, 2016 at the Bologna Fiere pavilion and saw the participation of our brand-new company PlumeStars srl which has received important award.
Pharmintech, like every year, has focused on enhancing research by reserving to universities, centers, consortia, start-ups and academic spin-offs a themed area of great visibility and content within Pharma Week.
Infact, a special section called Pharmintech Awards has been awarded with the most innovative, efficient and effective solutions for the pharmaceutical, parafarmaceutic, nutraceutical and cosmeceutical industry, focusing on projects involving innovative technologies in the field the development of medicines and similar products, the use of biotechnologies and information technologies to support Supply Chain.
There were three competing categories:
– Exhibitors Pharmintech 2016
– Newco
– Academic World
PlumeStars has been awarded the “New Co” award for major technological innovations by presenting the project “Inhalable antibiotic dry powders”, a research on cystic fibrosis.
