PlumeSTARS participated at the conference “Open & Science Innovation” held on 25th February at Milan.
The conference, promoted by Airi – Italian Association for Industrial Research aims to highlight some cooperation practices between industrial and public research, characterized by quality and novelty, as well as possibilities for technological transfer methodologies and tools.
The meeting is the first public passage of an Airi working table that has involved some of the main associates: Public research bodies (CNR, ENEA, INSTM) and University (University of Pisa, Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Scuola Normale Superiore), as well as Industries (Eni, Enel, HeidelbergCement, Bracco, Brembo) and federations of the productive world (Unioncamere, Farmindustria), support organizations for innovation (Innovhub-SSI, Eidon Lab, Ayming).
The conference has elaborated some lines of reflection: the research-industry dialogue can be facilitated by the diffusion of transfer methodologies based on open innovation. In this core the following case studies were presented: “licensing out” mode for the use of specific industrial technologies; the spin-off and start-up selection process in the context of innovative projects; conceptual models of standard contracts for the development of shared contractual languages; network practices between research and small-medium enterprises; the organizational upgrading of technology transfer channels passes through open science. Within this core the following case studies were presented: research practice oriented towards product IP; advanced tools for the retrieval and dissemination of digital data; new forms of incentive and structuring of reward mechanisms for demonstrators; main IP management models.
