PROF. PAOLO COLOMBO SPEAKER AT UNIVERSITY OF ATHENS

Prof. Paolo Colombo, CEO of PlumeStars srl, has been invited as speaker at National and Kapodistrian University of Athens on 18th January to present the speech “Nanoparticles lung inhalation as a drug delivery route for heart diseases” to the participants of the annual meeting of the MSc Industrial Pharmacy, a post graduate course directed by Prof. Dimitrios Rekkas. The meeting was very well attended by several representatives of the Greek pharmaceutical companies.

On June 8th PlumeStars srl participated at the “Venture Contest for International Entrepreneurs -Win in Suzhou Win the Future”, an international competition for innovation and entrepreneurship of new projects and talents, borned in Suzhou (China) since 2011.

TO DR ERIDE QUARTA THE PRESTIGIOUS EUFEPS WOMEN IN PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCE AWARD 2021

Eride Quarta got the prestigious EUFEPS Women in Pharmaceutical Sciences Award 2021. The Women in Pharmaceutical Sciences (WIPS) initiative was established in 2017 by EUFEPS, European Federation of Pharmaceutical Sciences, with the aim of supporting the research of  woman researchers, also facilitating international mobility and active participation in congresses.

To Dr Eride Quarta the “Best Poster Award” at the European Federation for Pharmaceutical Sciences Annual meeting

Eride Quarta, PhD student in “Drugs, Biomolecules and Health Products“ of the University of Parma, coordinator Prof. Marco Mor, received the “Best Poster Award” Award, at the EUFEPS Annual Meeting 2019, held in Frankfurt, Germany, 6-8 March 2019.

The award was given for the presentation of the research “Pulmonary administration of a novel insulin powder in comparison to Afrezza”, carried out in collaboration with Prof. Francesca Buttini and Prof. Paolo Colombo and Prof. Elisabetta Barocelli, of the Department of Pharmaceutical and Food Sciences of the University of Parma.

To Francesca Buttini “Emerging Scientist Award” of the “Aerosol Society UK”

Dr. Francesca Buttini, researcher at the Department of Food and Drug Sciences of the University of Parma and co-founder of PlumeSTARS, received the “Emerging Scientist Award” from the “Aerosol Society UK“. The award was presented at the Drug Delivery to the Lungs congress dedicated to the pulmonary administration of drugs held in Edinburgh from 6 to 8 December, during which Dr Buttini gave a lecture on the results of her research.

Prof. Paolo Colombo receives the certificate of civic merit for pharmaceutical research on the occasion of the Premio Sant’Ilario 2018

Saturday, January 13th the award ceremony of the Sant’Ilario Prize (2018 edition) was held at the Paganini Auditorium in Parma.

Prof. Paolo Colombo, Professor emeritus of the University of Parma and CEO of PlumeSTARS, has received the certificate of civic merit for the very high research activity in the field of pharmaceutical technology and for the fundamental contribution in the development of the most modern technologies and innovative products with the achievement of fundamental patents for the sector with recognition of numerous international awards and honors.

PlumeStars winner of the “New Co” prize at the 5th edition of Pharmintech

The 5th edition of Pharmintech, the international event dedicated to the technology chain for the pharmaceutical, parafarmaceutics and nutraceutical industry, took place from April 13th to the 15th, 2016 at the Bologna Fiere pavilion and saw the participation of our brand-new company PlumeStars srl which has received important award.

Pharmintech, like every year, has focused on enhancing research by reserving to universities, centers, consortia, start-ups and academic spin-offs a themed area of ​​great visibility and content within Pharma Week.

Ten start ups in Silicon Valley, including Plumestars srl

There are ten Emilian-Romagna start ups, five of which belong to the food industry, who will experience on the field what it means to operate in Silicon Valley.

Until November 15, 2015, the first edition of a course that will become a permanent training mechanism in Silicon Valley, the world center for creating start-up innovations, will kick off.

In fact, the Emilia-Romagna Region, supported by Aster, has launched the Aster in Usa program, a subsidiary in Silicon Valley to support start-ups that want to internationalize their market, seek new funding and increase their skills.
